Signal Instruments Series III Gas Analyzers
VES offers a complete product line of microprocessor-based gas analyzers. Series III models are available to measure carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), oxides of nitrogen (NO, NO2, NOx), oxygen (O2) and hydrocarbon gases (total hydrocarbon and non-methane total hydrocarbon). All Series III gas analyzers feature an easy to use menu-driven operator interface, powerful remote control and communications, configurable alarms and isolated voltage and current outputs.
Microprocessor-based gas analyzers are superior because the important internal parameters that effect the instrument's performance and calibration integrity are continually monitored and controlled. Out of tolerance conditions are reported so that corrective measures may be taken before the instrument goes out of calibration or fails. Though more sophisticated than their analog counterparts, microprocessor-based gas analyzers provide more information to assist the operator in maintaining the instrument to new equipment performance standards. When a part or sub-assembly is replaced, the instrument's performance is easily evaluated against the original factory quality assurance data using the instrument status display.
